点评：Visited for the first time at the weekend and was very disappointed with the animal welfare standards. The guinea pigs enclosure was fine, but the rabbits were kept in enclosures that don't meet requirements for the space they need and some were kept alone. They also had "petting" areas which there are campaigns to stop these happening due to the stress they put on animals. The reptiles were ok, need some work on their enclosures though. Outside was dire, mostly sheep and they all looked absolutely miserable. The grass was dead (perhaps try to water it knowing the current weather situ?) but in these circumstances there should be plenty of hay left out. The ducks and geese had no access to swimming water which i thought was shocking! Most animals were just kept in an empty, dry enclosure, no enrichment at all and some animals had no access to shade on what was a scorching hot day. There were donkeys tied up to a tree out the front, in the shade but it was still very, very hot and they didn't have much room to move, they were there the whole time we were there. The park was fine, it is for older kids though and the cafe was nice but i won't be visiting again for the pure reason of the animal care.
