We must start by praising Chris Beardsmore, who was incredibly helpful throughout the entire booking process and very quick to reply to emails. We wanted a honeymoon that perfectly balanced two activities—surfing and diving—and Chris provided expert advice on resort selection and package management, ensuring both our requirements were fully met. He made what could have been a complicated planning process feel seamless and stress-free.
The positive experience continued upon arrival at Kandooma Resort, thanks to the fantastic surf team. Huge credit goes to the surf guides and coaches, Jinoo, Minherl, and Barnaby. They were absolutely fantastic. The set-up was great, with daily boat trips to nearby spots that perfectly matched our skill level and the available conditions. The selection of board hire was also great, offering a good range of quality shortboards and longboards. As coaches, they were not only incredibly enthusiastic but also highly skilled. They provided genuinely helpful, specific advice on reading and catching the best waves, and their constant tips led to significant improvements in our technique over the trip. Furthermore, the video coaching was very helpful for seeing our technique in action. Their guidance truly elevated the surfing experience.
