点评：This is our family's second time doing falconry here. The biggest difference from our first experience was that the gloves were awfully moist and smelly. I wore my Paula Rowen luxury leather gloves to the course and wasn't warned at all that they could be ruined if I kept them on under my falconry glove. In fact, I started to remove the leather glove before putting on the falconry glove, and the guide specifically told me, "You can keep that glove on." I did, and after removing the large falconry glove, I noticed dark, wet-looking stains covering my fingers, along with a horribly rancid smell. You can use Gemini to look up what that "juice" was because I'm disgusted to think about it anymore. Everyone's hands smelled horrible, and we had to keep washing them for several hours before the smell was completely gone. This wasn't the experience we had the first time around, so clearly the gloves aren't being cleaned or maintained properly. What if someone had a cut on their hand...the blood, sweat, and bacterial breeding ground inside that glove is not an ideal environment. I wish we had done some research to understand this before the class. I continued putting my glove in and out of my wool jacket pocket during and after the class, contaminating lots of things before I realized what had happened. We called the Falconry School afterward to ask what the "juice" on the glove was, and they said it was just transfer from the leather and should come off with a wet rag. Totally not that. Leather transfer does not smell like rot. Look it up...it's disgusting. Hope I can save another person from ruining their personal gloves during this experience. I'd even recommend doubling up disposable latex gloves so you don't get that nasty smell on your hands at all.
