Mothman Museum的点评
点评：Great Value at only $5 per ticket. (But then we spent $60 for 2 souvenir T shirts). Such a unique and educational experience. Staff was friendly and welcoming. It was super busy and packed with people on a Sunday afternoon.
Location was super easy to find, GPS took me right to it. Parking was a bit tricky as I only saw street parking available. The Mothman Museum is a mix of authentic items as well as replicated items. They have an original copy of John Keel’s book The Mothman Prophecies, on display, published in 1975 as well as a suit worn by the man himself.
Lots of artwork displayed with different interpretations of mothman. You can see many screen used items from the 2002 movie starring Richard Gere. There is SO much information packed in a small place, I recommend taking your time and going slow if you truly want to soak everything in. Whether you like the historical and factual or the mysterious and obscure, the museum has something for everyone.
There are tons of awesome and quirky photo ops with Mothman costumes, statues, and cutouts. If you have to use the bathroom, you have to get a key on a long stick from the gift shop counter. The gift shop is small and can be a tight squeeze between isles on a crowded day, but they have tons of fun merch from thsirts, cups, pins, and adorable moth man plushies.
Overall I definitely recommend a visit to the Mothman Museum.
