Fantastic, Well Worth Visiting .
Workhouse Museum & Garden的点评
点评:A very much worthwhile visit, the museum greatly exceeded my expectations, from the moment you walk in and a chap enthusiastically explains about the museum, his input was a fantastic way to let one know what to expect,
Everything about the life’s inside the workhouse is easily understood, with all of the relevant information and artefacts,
Visiting the garden and chatting with the head gardener 👨🌾 and a lady helper was interesting to know how the garden has been transformed into what it is today, which is how the garden would have looked when it was a workhouse.
One interesting fact was that Charlie Chaplin was in a workhouse as a child of 7 years old,
Admission cost was very good value,
A big thanks to all of the staff involved in maintaining this very credible place.
