Great even in you don’t like bourbon

点评：Whether you are a bourbon fan, or not, touring Woodford Reserve is an experience we recommend.
We took the distillery tour, exploring the historic buildings, learning first hand how they make their famous bourbon. Seeing and smelling the fermentation process was my favorite part (tasting the final product was the other favorite part for our group!). This is truly one of the most unique distillery tours we have done.
The guides are knowledgeable, explaining the history and current process. A unique feature to see was the tracks that they roll the bourbon barrels around on throughout the property, using gravity so they only need a little nudge to get moving.
After the tour we did a tasting. It’s amazing how different each sample is from the other depending on the process. Learning the correct way to taste bourbon was also helpful… the more you know.
If you find yourself on the bourbon trail, you should take the time to at least visit the grounds… your taste buds will thank you.
