Great time with oceanus at Royal island & spa

点评：I dived with oceanus on Royal island & spa I had a great time with them,their staff are very friendly & helpful which is always a bonus..lol.
I’ve dived in the Maldives before so wasn’t too bothered about diving with mantas that might sound strange but as long as I got wet I didn’t mind what I dived.what I did was 4 dives 2 daytime & 2 night dives I’ve got a new torch which I wanted to try out it has a blue n red light on it which I couldn’t wait to try I had great fun seeing the luminescence of some of the coral with the blue light was amazing.
On the royal island before you can do a boat dive you have to do the house reef which is $90 that works out to £73.38 each boat dive is $110 that works out to £89.69 so can add up very quickly if you did a day on the boat that’s 3 dives that’s £269.07 that doesn’t include any dive gear you might hire so try to bring as much of your own gear as your wife will allow…lol
all dives are done with nitrox .
I’m not knocking the prices oceanus has overheads all I’m saying is be aware & plan beforehand what your looking to do as far as your diving.
I did have my dive Guides write their names down that I could read them n give them a shout out because they were awesome but can’t find it but I really enjoyed myself & they pointed out lots of things while diving that I would have missed I would dive with them n with oceanus again the next time as we are planning on coming back.
Some advice: if you are bringing a dive torch with you make sure you take the batteries out of it you might be ok going into the Maldives with batteries in it but you will definitely get stopped at security leaving the Maldives they made every diver including me open our bags & remove the batteries in front of them ,as for me my lock decided to jam locked security were on the verge of cutting my bag open its no joke thankfully I forced the lock open so be aware.
