点评：We booked ahead and joined the Harbourmaster at the Forest Holiday stop Meillionen Halt which is near Beddgelert. Remember to put your arm out to stop the train. The train driver leaned out and welcomed us with a big friendly smile. The guard jumped out and helped us board. We had the most spectacular scenery, mountains and a waterfall! We took our Labrador, it was a bit of a jump for him to get on and initially he was worried about the strange noises and movements but he then settled under the table. We had just over an hour and half at Carmarthen, castle, nice cafes and shops to look around. The guard remembered where we were getting off (at a request stop) and opened the door for us. We enjoyed tea and Welsh cakes from the refreshments trolley. Staff were efficient and most helpful. The cost was great value for this wonderful day out. Highly recommend.
