A Wonderful Canal Boat Experience

点评：We hired the Joshua Day Boat on 23 May to celebrate my mum’s birthday, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.
There were nine of us on board, and the boat felt spacious and comfortable throughout the day. The weather was glorious—bright and sunny—and we cruised down to the Flint Mill, where we stopped to have a look around.
We brought a cake stand filled with individual cakes, along with plates of other treats, which we enjoyed with the complimentary tea and coffee provided on board.
Although I was initially a little nervous about being captain of the boat, I quickly found my feet and was steering like a duck to water! The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and a special thank you to Chris for taking the time to explain everything so thoroughly and confidently.
It was such a relaxing day. Time seemed to slow down as we gently made our way along the canal, waving to passers-by and taking in the scenery.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and I’m already looking forward to doing it again with friends. Highly recommended!
