⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic free experience in Presicce – highly recommended

点评：One of the best-value experiences we’ve found during our time in Presicce. Negro Valiani offers a free tour of their olive oil production facility followed by a tasting, and it’s absolutely worth visiting.
The tour was genuinely interesting and very well explained. Our guide spoke good English, and there were translated information boards at each stage, so it was easy to understand the entire process from the olives arriving through to the finished oil.
What made it particularly enjoyable was learning about the history behind the business. Negro Valiani is a multigenerational family business, and you get a real sense of the knowledge and tradition that has been passed down over the years.
After the tour, we tasted their oils and had the opportunity to browse the shop. Alongside good-quality olive oil for everyday cooking, they produce a range of flavoured oils for finishing and dressing dishes, including lemon, rosemary and bergamot.
They also make olive-oil-based products such as soaps and skincare. We bought the lemon and mint hand cream, which smells fantastic and made a lovely little souvenir to take home.
Considering that the tour and tasting are completely free, this is excellent value and a great way to spend an hour or so while staying in or around Presicce. You can learn about one of Puglia’s most important products, support a local family business and pick up some genuinely useful products at the end.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
