点评：Visited again with the family and wasn't very impressed. Walking into the attraction and you get greeted by the most awful looking enclosures. The glass was terrible and it makes it hard to see the animals. The butterfly area is an absolute dead loss. Every time we have been it's the same. They have badly maintained cases for the pupae but whoever looks after them is clearly struggling as the number of butterflies is appalling. I understand what other reviews say when mentioning that Tropical World looks dated. It does but it's the poor selection of animals. Nothing changes there and there's never anything new. Once you've been then you've been. Even the meerkats are old hat now. It's a shame because it used to have great animals a few years ago but not anymore. You see plenty of animal keepers about so it can't be lack of staff that has created the degeneration, so it must be how it's managed. The staff are nice and seem knowledgeable but obviously they can only work with what they have. It feels like it needs somebody with some drive and actual knowledge and who cares about the place running the animals keepers because it's all gone stale. I think a new set off eyes overseeing the animals might bring the attraction back to life. If it doesn't do something then I fear the worst. It's a long way off competing with other attractions and unfortunately the Sheffield Butterfly attraction and Yorkshire Wildlife Park have much more to offer.

翻译：又和家人一起去了一趟，但印象并不好。一走进园区，映入眼帘的就是那些外观极其糟糕的饲养圈。玻璃质量也很差，导致很难看清里面的动物。蝴蝶区则完全毫无看点。每次去都是如此。他们用来饲养蝴蝶蛹的容器维护得也很糟糕，显然负责照料的人力不足，以至于这里的蝴蝶数量少得可怜。我明白其他评论中提到的“Tropical World看起来有些过时”是什么意思。确实如此，但问题出在动物品种的挑选上。那里什么变化都没有，也从来没有新引进的动物。去过一次也就够了。就连猫鼬这种动物现在也显得老套了。真可惜，几年前那里的动物种类还挺丰富的，但现在不是这样了。园区里有很多饲养员，所以动物种类减少肯定不是因为人手不足，问题应该出在管理方式上。工作人员都很友善，看起来也很有见识，但显然他们只能在现有条件下工作。感觉现在需要一个有干劲、具备专业知识且真正关心这个地方的人来管理饲养员们，因为现在一切都变得死气沉沉了。我认为如果能有新人来负责动物管理工作，或许能让这个景点重新焕发生机。否则的话，我担心情况会变得很糟糕。它要赶上其他旅游景点还有很长的路要走；遗憾的是，谢菲尔德蝴蝶园和约克郡野生动物园能提供的内容要多得多。
