Great Way to See the Toronto Skyland and See Toronto Islands

点评：There are two great reasons to take the Toronto Island ferries. The first is to simply get to the islands which are a great natural amenity for the region, and the second is to get the best views of the Toronto skyline from the Toronto Harbor. The islands are an incredible natural phenomenon, only islands like that on Lake Ontario, and something you will want to see when you visit. In addition, the views of Toronto from the islands or the harbor are amazing.
There are two ways to reach the islands, the first is ferry and the other is a water taxi. The water taxi is $25/person one way and ferry is $10/person round trip Canadian, so the ferry is a very affordable way to do it. They also run consistently in the summer, almost one going to an island berth every 15 minutes as there are 3 different island berths from the central Toronto location. While your activity may be closer to a specific berth (Ward Island, Center Island, and Hanlan's Point), it really is a short walk to anywhere on the island. You can get good views from any seat; however, you may not get the very best view on the ferry as those seats go fast. I will say boarding the ferry is a little bit of a cattle call.

I will say it is probably better to buy your ticket before going to the terminal online. We bought tickets at the terminal off a QR code, and it was a little confusing and crazy with the ferry arriving soon. You then get packed into like a holding pen and then the gate opens with a rush for a seat. Again, in a short time you are there but taking in views of the skyline as you go.
