点评：I had been visiting Torres del Paine for three days. On the last day, my tour finished early, so I came here to learn more about the history of the region. The museum is very small — you need an hour at most — and the majority of the information is in English as well. I learned a lot without feeling overloaded. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. The entrance fee for foreigners in August 2026 was 4,000 CLP, which was very reasonable. The museum presents its exhibits across seven themed rooms, guided by a bilingual script. Its galleries showcase a rich collection of original artifacts and replicas that illuminate the lives of two Indigenous peoples of the Última Esperanza region: the Aónikenk, nomadic inhabitants of the pampas, and the Kawésqar, skilled navigators of the Pacific. Complementing this, the museum also houses a collection on pioneer and settler life, featuring materials and testimonies from Puerto Natales, tracing its origins as a working-class ranching town in 1911. I would recommend visiting if you have the time.
