点评：Visited with a 2 year old and 2 adults. We were really excited about going here, had seen lots of good reviews and content online about it. However when we arrived we felt let down by the actual content of the museum. There are a maximum of two galleries which are primarily focused on the author, his life and background. This was really good if you are interested from that perspective, however we were expecting to see more content dedicated to exploring his written work. Specifically, there wasn't much delving into the stories themselves, it wasnt telling us why Roald Dahl is still treasured. I was hoping my 2 year old could come away with an early introduction to Roald Dahl's world, however that didnt happen. There were great interactive activities for older children which looked engaging. I was also hoping to see a few more 'star pieces', for example, there's a great display of his writing hut, however given most people engage with his world through pop culture I was expecting a bit more from this perspective (e.g. movie props). On the positive side, the under 5s room was great with duplo and soft toys to play with, and overall the place felt very relaxed. All the staff were friendly and approachable. The museum has definate promise, but I wouldn't say it delivered to my expectations and I'm not sure what would bring me for a return visit at this time.
