点评：Unexpected surprise. I’m so glad I came across this information before I arrived in Egypt and that I made an effort to find and visit it. The architecture and grandeur of the Palace was impressive, memorable yet maintaining authenticity to the Egyptian culture. Amazing that so much of the artwork, tiling and masonic work was handmade. The gardens were well kept and surprising that the grass is so green considering Cairo has little or no rain. If you are in the area it is definitely worth a visit. It was peaceful and not many crowds. My cousin, who lives in Egypt said that the locals go there on a break while they study at the university across the road. Also there were quite a few art students. I had a driver drop me off. It’s the only way to get there. Entry is EGP220 credit or debit card only.
