Museum Of Science & History的点评
点评：The third Thursday of every month there is free admission at the Museum of Science & History also known as the Pink Palace. I had never been there and did not know what I was missing. This is a wonderful asset to Memphis’s collection of diverse museums. Housed in a beautiful old mansion built in the 1920s, this is part of what is documented there. Visitors can see a lovely older home refurbished into a museum which tells so many different stories. The museum has something for everyone: old, odd collections of stuffed birds; a splendid WPA mural; documentation about many aspects of Memphis’s history and science stuff, if you are into that. There is also a planetarium and a theater. But what I liked the most was an amazing, handmade 3 dimensional circus with carved animals and figurines which as a large table top display fills up an entire room! Any child would be entranced by it.
