点评：We visited Colmar on a day trip from Strasbourg and this area was one of our first stops after walking from the train station. This area is just north of the Place du Champ-de-Mars park and just south of the old town area and has the Noël Féerique Colmar (Magical Christmas Colmar) Market. We visited on Christmas Day and feel it was busier than normal but more manageable than the other Christmas Market areas of Colmar. It is free to enter this area and there is a nice park area just to the south of this square which make it very family friendly.
We spent about 20 minutes in the area in the early afternoon and another 10 minutes in the evening when it was nicely lit up. In the centre of the square is a statue of General Jean Rapp who was born in Colmar. The statue was the first memorial made by Auguste Bartholdi and you will find many of his creations throughout Colmar.
