点评：I completed this hike with Daudi in August.
If you're in Lake Natron and are physically able, I'd recommend to do this. The hike itself is challenging at times, but as long as you follow your guides advice and take breaks when suggested, it is fine. For example, we had two separate 1 hour sleep breaks, one about half way and one before the summit at sun rise.
The views inside the volcano are brilliant, and once coming down, the scenery of the rift valley is spectacular. It was incredibly windy at the top, so we didn't stay long. Coming down didn't take long at Ihr 45. The cost was $123.60, payed to Daudi in shillings who sorts it with the community centre on your behalf.
After reading other tripadvisor reviews, I found Daudi. I contacted him on WhatsApp with the Number +255689061217, however he has got problems with that phone now. His new number is 0717282287.
Daudi was excellent throughout; from the initial contact where he promptly replied and helped me plan the trip; he took me to the local community boarder and helped me pay the local fees; he also supplied a fellow Maasai to watch over my car whilst we climbed; he also expertly guided me on the drive to the base of the volcano in difficult conditions. If you stray off the beaten track driving to where you park, you quickly become stuck due to the sand (he's had people stuck for 9hrs before), and so his knowledge and control of guiding me the correct route was imperative.
Daudi is a former Tanzanian soldier so l had confidence and trust in him and we enjoyed
sharing stories on the trek.
The following day, he took my partner and I to a great spot on the edge of Lake Natron to take in the scenery and watch flamingos. He educated us on different animal tracks, and finally, we had a lovely end when we stumbled across some giraffes on the way back and Daudi helped us view them safely.
Overall a great activity to do, and one l recommend.

达乌迪曾是一名坦桑尼亚士兵，所以我对他充满信任与信心；我们在徒步途中也乐于互相分享各种故事。
