点评:I learned about The Atomic Museum last year when they announced they would be hosting an exhibit honoring the video game series, Fallout. As a huge Fallout fan and someone generally interested in the atomic age I knew I needed to visit! The museum is extremely thorough and well-organized. There is so much information presented about a variety of topics; from The Manhattan Project, to the science of atoms and atomic energy, to the history of atomic testing in Nevada. And if one doesn't have the attentional capacity to take it all in, there are ways to learn about the various topics in a more condensed fashion. My favorite parts involved the pop culture elements and discussions of the impact of the various topics on surrounding residents and the overall American culture. The Fallout exhibit was fun as well and a nice treat at the end of the museum proper. There's even a little Fallout-related scavenger hunt. Although I of course wished the Fallout exhibit had been bigger, I know there was limited space. Quite glad I got the chance to visit. For anyone interested in history overall and the Atomic Age more specifically I would definitely recommend it!
