It's certainly not the place for a quiet evening, but that's part of what makes the atmosphere so interesting. One thing worth remembering is that the streets can get quite busy, so it's better to take your time rather than rush through. Whether you're interested in the nightlife, looking around the shops, or simply enjoying the street atmosphere, Chaweng after dark has plenty to see. It's a colourful, energetic side of Koh Samui that really stands out.
