Kloster Engelberg - Benediktinerabtei的点评
点评：The Benedictine Monastery is an important historical building in Engelberg. The best part is that you are able to get a tour of the inner cloister. You have to book online as I don't think they take tours at the door.
After going into the Cloister gardens, you have to go up the cloister doors. There is a "Kloiser Monastery" sign beside it. The other door leads to the flower shop. If there is a tour available, you can head up the stairs and the gate will be open, where you will be met for the tour. Make sure to have the online reservation handy. The tour is in German but they had a QR code in the office for English information about the tour sites.
It was an incredible experience being able to look at the different areas within the cloister. I particularly enjoyed the burnt drawings lining the corridors of the cloister. The internal view of the chapel was also very extraordinary. The ceiling depicts the various life points of our Blessed Mother. I also enjoyed looking at the artefacts in the museum.
It was definitely a worthwhile and unique experience.
