A Fascinating Museum with a Completely Different Side of Istanbul

点评：The Rahmi M. Koç Museum is one of the most interesting and unique museums I’ve visited in Istanbul.
What I loved most is the incredible variety of the collection. From classic cars, historic boats and trains to aircraft, machinery, industrial objects and technological exhibits, there is something interesting around almost every corner.
The museum gives you a fascinating look at how transportation, technology and industry have evolved over time. Many of the exhibits are beautifully preserved, and seeing these historic objects up close makes the experience much more engaging than simply looking at them in photographs.
I also really enjoyed the museum’s location along the Golden Horn. The waterfront setting and historic surroundings add another dimension to the visit and make it a wonderful place to spend several hours.
I visited the museum during one of my days in Istanbul and genuinely enjoyed discovering this less conventional side of the city. It is especially interesting for anyone who appreciates history, design, engineering, transportation and craftsmanship.
A very worthwhile experience and definitely one of the museums I would recommend exploring if you want to see a different side of Istanbul.
