点评：Had a great deal getting in with our HSBC Banking Account, so a positive straight away, & the day just got better & better from there. What a great space Kew Gardens is generally, with “veteran” trees all around & my wife's; who’s an avid Succulent & Cactus collector, favourite the Princess of Wales Conservatory, an awesome place with some truly amazing specimens. I’m not particularly mobile so was over joyed with the Kew Explorer Land Train (additional cost sadly) but worth the £6.50 as you can get on & off as many times as you want or just ride around like I did. It has a full commentary & i’d like to specifically congratulate Rachel & Nial on their varied commentary, safe driving & indeed patience with people who really don’t understand a horn or indeed the turning circle of such a long vehicle. They were both great fun to talk to as well, seek them out & say hi. Sadly I can’t say the millionaires cake was as good value as the Land Train, very nice but a bit expensive at £5.50 especially considering that it wasn’t much bigger than a bourbon biscuit. Back to the garden itself & the Pagoda; which has seen a relatively recent renovation, is absolutely stunning sadly another additional cost & we’d already spent more than we wanted too so passed on going inside (the 200 plus steps put me off anyway). This was close to the Japanese Garden which was as tranquil a place as I’ve ever visited & I’ve been to Japanese Gardens in Japan. All in all a great day out & if we lived in London we’d definitely join as annual members.
