Stonewall Jackson's Headquarters的点评
点评：My wife and I moved to Virginia about 9 years ago from Missouri, but often go back to see family. When we are driving back on I81 we see a small sign advertising Jackson’s Headquarters we always say we need to go there, but never did go. We made a pack that we were going Well yesterday was the day. WOW what an exciting adventure awaited us. We rang the doorbell and a sweet lady dress in a period costume greeted us at the door. She stated Reba was her name, she invited us in and then the fun began. Reba stated she could give us a tour of the home in a shortened version or a full length version. We told her that we had plenty of time so the stories began. We went through each room with exciting history stories of the civil war and how this beautiful house helped to impact history. Reba made the house become alive pointing out many original artifacts from this time in history. Reba let us ask questions during the presentation making it feel as if you were living during this era. When the tour was ending I looked at my watch and we spent aprox. 3 hours. I could not believe it as I originally thought 30-45 min would be maximum for this tour. REBA WAS TRULY OUTSTANDING. My wife and I loved our time at this beautiful home. I want to go back and take photos with my good camera. If you are ever in or close to Windchester VA this is a must see!!!
