Smaller Beach Hemmed in By Concrete Wall & Rocks (but easy parking)

点评：Clovelly Beach is one of the beaches along the Bondi - Coogee Coastal Walking Trail. However it’s not the prettiest of beaches. It’s hemmed in on one side by a concrete wall and man-made pool and by a rock shelf on the other side. This creates a funnel-like effect, so that the beach is more like a long narrow bay with the sand set some way back from the ocean.
On the plus side, it is generally quite calm by the water’s edge, making it a relatively safe, easy place for small children to paddle. There’s also a nice children’s playground with a nest swing, a small slide and a wooden climbing frame, and a boat.
Facilities are good. The Sea Salt Café, which overlooks the beach, is a very pleasant spot for a coffee or lunch if you want to retreat from the sun and the sand and there are public toilets near the café.
