Kato Drys — a quiet village worth the detour

点评：Kato Drys was a very nice surprise. I went on a Sunday, and it felt like I was alone in the village. Apart from the tavern at the entrance of the village, which was almost packed, everything else was very quiet.
It is a small village, so it didn't feel so bad to walk in the middle of the day, summertime. The old houses are lovely, everything is tidy and clean, like in all the mountain villages I have visited so far.
The best part of the visit was the Bee Museum, and especially the backyard. With trees and flowers and the arrangements there, it felt like it was another world.
It is the perfect spot to stay away from the sun and just enjoy the green and quiet in the middle of the summer.
Make sure you have water with you if you go in the summer, because it is not the kind of village where you will find shops.
Kato Drys is not a destination for a full day, but it's just 4 km away from Pano Lefkara, and you can visit both places for sure.
