点评:The Cistern are a very atmospheric tourist attraction, previously a water storage facility that has been repurposed as an art gallery and exhibition space. There were 7 short films by Marina Abramovic playing when we visited. To be honest we weren't that inspired by the films but the space itself is well worth a visit. It's quite dark, very damp and quite creepy but we loved wandering around - it's different. A few steps to get underground but not loads and there are thick 'dry robe' type coats that you can borrow as it's quite cool and very damp. Wear sturdy flat shoes and the floor is a little uneven. We got the train from Copenhagen Central to Valby St and it was about a 20 minute walk (think the metro might be nearer?). The walk is partly through a lovely quiet park which is a nice break from city centre siteseeing. Photos make it look quite light but the camera was compensating for how dark it was. My daughters decided to play behind one of the screens... 😉
