Large Church in Heidelberg
Church of the Holy Ghost (Heiliggeistkirche)的点评
点评：This is the largest church in Heidelberg and was built between 1398-1515. We liked the baroque tower in front and the surrounding square. We did see a nice tree with a star inside the church but the appearance inside is pretty plane. We got a good view and some pictures of the church from Heidelberg Castle and Marktplatz. The church is free to enter and donations are accepted.
We did a day trip to Heidelberg with the intention of going to the Christmas Market and most of it was situated around the church in the Market Square but we came a day or two too late close to Christmas. There are still some vendors around the hall and there are plenty of shops nearby on the popular pedestrian street. We spent about 15 minutes in the area but would spend more time if there was an event happening at the church or surrounding square.
