点评：Wayside Stables provided me with the best riding experience I’ve had so far in the UK!
I’m from the US, and whenever I travel, I always make a point of scheduling horseback rides or treks. I especially love riding abroad because there are often opportunities to experience much more freedom and open space than I’m used to in the States. My rides through Windsor Great Park with Wayside were truly incredible. The landscape was beautiful, the horses were extremely well-trained and well-mannered, and the opportunities to canter were absolutely the highlight of my weeklong trip!
I will say that your experience can depend quite a bit on the group you ride with and the guide. My first morning’s ride with Ed was lovely, (horse was Blue!) and he was a great guide, but the pace was much slower than I had hoped for. There was quite a bit of paperwork beforehand asking in detail about riding ability and experience, and I had expressed that being placed with an advanced group was important to me. However, that first ride was around 80% walking, with some trotting and only a few short canters. There was a wide range of riding abilities within the group, and I felt like I didn’t get to experience as much of the park as I could have, especially seeing how many incredible open spaces there were to ride through.
My second morning with Nikki was a completely different experience and exactly what I had been hoping for. The group was very well matched in skill level, and we had so many incredible, long stretches of cantering through Windsor Great Park. It felt much freer, faster-paced, and gave us the opportunity to really enjoy the horses and the landscape. It was an unforgettable ride and I was elated during and after.
One to note for guests traveling without a car is you'll have to make a trip out to the stables separately to complete the paperwork and pick up rentals such as a riding helmet (bus from town took about 25 min).
would absolutely return to Wayside, esp If you’re an experienced rider looking for a more advanced, forward-paced ride in a stunning landscape. When the group is well matched, Wayside offers an amazing opportunity to experience Windsor Great Park on horseback.

我绝对会再次选择Wayside庄园，尤其是对于那些经验丰富、希望在绝美的风景中体验节奏更快、更具挑战性的骑乘之旅的骑手们而言。只要团队成员的水平相当，Wayside就能为人们提供一次骑马游览温莎大公园的绝佳机会。
