Only 1 star because roads are closed & so is fall

点评：Heads up .. FALLS are closed. Bridge to cross creek is completely gone. After making a 2 hour detour from our trip we got within .02 of a mile from it to only find road closed. There is still ALot of road work & bridge replacements after the floods from Hurricane Helene. Somehow we didn’t see the sign until we were coming back. I think gps took us out a different way. As someone mentioned how rough the area looks.. some is from the massive flooding. Living in an area hit by hurricanes.. it takes time. Then if you ever go off the beaten path through some of these little towns to waterfalls it’s very normal to see cars here & there & run down areas. Nothing unsafe it’s just their way of life. TA also has it marked In the wrong location. So many areas roads have been repaired or fully redone as well as many small bridges. If we are ever back this way I’ll try again another year. Our trip we are on was put off after their flooding knowing they would need a year or more .. more like 2-3.
