点评：Honestly one of the best riding centres globally - and I have genuinely been to hundreds. As an experienced rider who developed multiple sclerosis in my 20s, I have struggled to find a venue that enables me to ride safely but enjoy myself in the sense that my prior experience is taken into account.
I returned to the saddle after 2 years out and absolutely adored a private beach ride with my friend, as well as two farm rides to build ourselves up first. It was truly amazing. There are horses and riding experiences for all abilities- where the safety of horses and riders is paramount. If you are open about your experience, health, fitness and expectations Annie and her team will provide exactly what you are looking for.
The one thing they cannot control is the weather, and subsequent safety implications eg wet ground on certain ride routes. Thus, it is my opinion that one should firmly ignore any prior reviews from clients who “didn’t get to go as fast as they wanted”. All horse people know we can’t gallop on slippery going. It’s just the weather !
We spent a week in a gloriously warm, cozy and well equipped glamping pod, where fresh flowers were in the table for our arrival. We had a fantastic hot tub to ease our muscles. To top it off the local countryside is breathtakingly stunning, and peppered with traditional English pubs that offer fantastic grub!
This is such a unique place - if you travel from abroad to “ride in England” then this is my #1 recommendation- it doesn’t get more unique than staying on a working farm and riding rare English heavy horse breeds- it really is special.
