点评:This place is so cool. Its a little off the beaten path but you can see it from the road. Pull up to any celebrity named parking spot. You'll notice early 1900's gas pumps, cars, trucks and lots of signs. The big metal shed is where the hand built 1/3 size cars are. Entrance fee is $10. Well worth the price. The cars are beautiful both in construction and paint jobs. My favorite color is Candy Apple Red Burgundy. I'm 6'2" and I was able to squeeze into one of the cars. Once inside the car I was surprisingly comfortable. Getting out took a little bit of twisting and turning. Besides the cars ,motorcycles, engines and metal flashing sings and other nostalgic items abound. The shelves are full of various model cars. There is also a small theater showing how everything came to be. Ernie Adams is the genius who made this all happen. He's a real nice guy to talk to. The gift shop items are reasonably priced with a decent variety too choose from. I bought a T- shirt and the dvd of how Ernie makes the hand built miniature cars. There is more stuff to see in the other out buildings. One pleasant surprise was the restrooms . Very clean and Billy Bass ( Of mounted wall plaque fame) starts singing as soon as you enter. Various period posters hang on the walls. I will come back even if it's just to shoot the breeze with Ernie and his granddaughter. Great time !
