点评：Beautiful beach, ruined by an incredibly rude welcome
The beach itself is beautiful, which makes our experience here even more disappointing.
We arrived looking for somewhere shady to spend a peaceful afternoon and saw a lovely grassy area beneath the trees. There were no signs that we could see telling us that the grass was private or that we were not allowed to sit there, so we simply put our towels down.
Within moments, a man approached us with an astonishingly hostile and rude attitude and told us we couldn’t sit there because it was private.
Now, if the grassy area is privately operated or reserved for paying customers, that’s absolutely fine. We would have had no problem whatsoever moving if somebody had simply said, politely, “Sorry, this area is private/the beach club area, but you’re welcome to sit on the public beach.”
Instead, we were spoken to as though we’d deliberately done something wrong.
There is simply no need to treat visitors like that. We are guests on this beautiful island, we’ve spent money in local restaurants and businesses, and almost everyone we’ve met in Kefalonia has been warm, welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, this man was the complete opposite.
We moved down onto the public pebble beach and found some shade, so ultimately no harm done — but the unnecessarily aggressive attitude left a very sour taste.
If an area is private, put up a clear sign. And if tourists innocently misunderstand, speak to them with basic courtesy.

然而，对方跟我们说话的语气却仿佛是我们故意犯了错似的。根本没必要那样对待游客。我们只是这座美丽岛屿上的客人，我们也在当地的餐馆和商铺消费了。在凯法利尼亚岛上遇到的几乎所有人都热情好客、友善亲切。可惜，这个男人完全恰恰相反。
我们随后走到公共的卵石海滩上，找到了阴凉处，所以最终也没出什么事——但这种毫无必要的攻击性态度实在让人心里很不是滋味。
如果某个区域属于私人领地，那就立个明确的告示吧。如果游客无意中产生了误解，请以基本的礼貌与他们交谈。
