点评：I had a strong adventure itch that needed some real scratching! I’m a 76 yr old recently single woman who isn’t quite ready to keep it simple. When my grandson told me he would be returning for another summer guiding at KWG, I immediately felt the urge to go for it! I called KWG manager Katy and she enthusiastically explored my interests and budget and went to town to put a plan together! Within hours she had an outline of the week I could spend, I loved the ideas, and she got all the logistics for flight connections and timeframes organized! I couldn’t believe how smoothly and wonderfully everything fit! Katy is super organized and such a warm person, adding some personal touches for my coffee preferences and miso soup for appetizers in the backcountry. Of course, the particular one on one time with Zimmer was my priority, and she ensured we had some flexible time to do our local hikes together as well. Not only was this a once in a lifetime trip, but it truly touched my heart with the spirit of Alaska! My grandson is being mentored by a wonderful group with the Kennicott Wilderness Guides!
