Enjoyable Evening at Round House Theatre.

Roundhouse Theatre
Located in Bethesda. This was my first time at this venue. This is a not-for profit theatre company and as a real novice to all the various forms of live theatre that is available in our area, this became to be a real treat, educational and enjoyable evening for me.
My friend who is far more knowledgeable in the world of live theatre had obtained her tickets through a certain program, it was unbelievably affordable and she happened to have an extra ticket, so I went along for the ride.
We followed the big blue “P” for parking signs once we approached the theatre area and found a paid parking structure that is very close to the theatre just across the street. There may be other places closer.
We attended the production of Adrift presented by the theatre group called Happenstance. The stage is definitely round and intimate enough that the seats are well placed and easy to find a good view from many vantage points. The seats are a bit firm and not the most comfortable so if you have back issues it is something to consider. Also the leg room can be a bit tight for a tall person.
We met with a very interesting theatre goer who had brought some of her personal handcraft work to pass the time which was a piece of art work itself.
The music was wonderful and the actors had incredible voices. The show was a different form of theatre than what I was usually expecting which made it far more interesting. Part of the show they would ask for audience participation.
After the show we went to Andy’s Pizza Bethesda located right across the street. A lively pizza place that had both lower and upstairs seating to enjoy nice crusty melt in your mouth delicious pizza you could purchase whole or by the piece. Then it was a short walk back to the parking structure for our ride back.
We had a delightful outing at the theatre and the delicious pizza topped off the evening very well!

我们遇到了一位非常有趣的戏剧爱好者，她带上了自己亲手制作的手工艺品来打发时间，那些作品本身也堪称艺术品。
音乐很动听，演员们的嗓音也极为出色。这场演出属于一种与我平时所期待的截然不同的戏剧形式，因此显得格外有趣。演出过程中，他们会邀请观众参与互动。
演出结束后，我们前往位于街对面的安迪披萨店（Andy’s Pizza Bethesda）。这是一家热闹非凡的披萨店，楼下和楼上都有座位，可以尽情享用外皮酥脆、入口即化的美味披萨——既可以整个购买，也可以单片购买。之后我们步行一小段路便回到了停车场，准备返程。
这次剧院之旅十分愉快，而美味的披萨则为整个夜晚画上了完美的句号！
