7 days across the Atlas and Sahara, but it’s the people I’ll remember

点评：Riad Jnane Imlil was a magical spot. Second floor room, view of the pool, the sound of the trees and the stream at night. The chef had a smile I will never forget and she cooked wholesome meals, always remembering my allergy.
Two nights in the desert camp were a highlight. The tents were far more comfortable than I expected and I slept brilliantly. And the sand is out of this world, like a movie backdrop.
Abdellah drove me from Marrakech to Imlil, Aït Benhaddou, the Sahara and Fez, and doubled as my guide. Having a driver like him was such a stress relief. I could just relax and enjoy the experience instead of worrying about logistics. He stopped at places I’d never have found on my own and knew all the best spots to eat. Highlights were the couscous, the Moroccan pizza and a local souk in the Sahara. He goes the extra mile.
Morocco is an adults playground. But it’s the people I’ll remember.
