Stunning medieval village with views for miles and amazing architecture

点评：Staying in Campiglia Marittima was a random fantastic decision. We had a home exchange opportunity there so we truly just stumbled upon the beautiful town. One of the best random decisions we’ve made! We hiked the plentiful hiking paths that surround the village every day. There’s loads of biking trails to be explored too. I was jealous of the bikers I saw taking advantage of the amazing quiet picturesque roads & trails.
The town itself could not be more charming the tiny little alleyways and fun little streets cannot be adequately described. It is quaint and ancient. Make sure you climb to the top to see the “Roca” the ancient ruins.. the view from up there is stunning. You can see all the way out to the med.!
The little restaurants in town were great. They had a wonderful vibe. There are cute little shops and even a great gelato shop..
We had a car and explore the other little Tuscan towns in the area and found the whole area to be very charming & easy to navigate.
