点评：This is my 9th pilgrimage to visit this Sanctuary where the incorrupt body of St Bernadette rests, now 101 years inside the church of St Gildard where Bernadette once worked as a Sacristan before becoming too ill. Many people from all over the world come here like me to pray and ask for St Bernadette's help. Outside in the garden was Bernadette's favorite place to come and pray, the Statue of Our Lady of the Waters. Bernadette said about this Statue, " It most resembled the beautiful Lady I saw in Lourdes". Also is the Chapel of St Joseph, reconstructed after WW II. Bernadette was buried in the old Chapel for 46 years before being moved for her Beatification on the road to Sainthood. Nevers, France is 2 hours by train from Paris-Bercy but well-worth the effort to travel here as Bernadette wanted to escape from the bothersome crowds coming to Lourdes.
