From the beginning of the expedition until the very end, they were exceptional. Johnny, the guides and the entire team looked after us and our family incredibly well, paying attention to every detail and doing everything they could to help us reach the summit safely.
On Kilimanjaro, you quickly realise that a great guide is much more than someone who simply knows the route. During the hardest moments, you are putting your safety in their hands, and Johnny is exactly the kind of person we would trust with our lives on a mountain.
His professionalism, experience and, above all, the way he treated us were incredible. He knew when to encourage us, when to slow us down, how to handle the difficult moments and how to make every member of our family feel safe throughout the climb.
We genuinely cannot think of a single negative thing to say about Johnny or his team. Quite the opposite , they were by far the best part of our Kilimanjaro experience.
If we were climbing Kilimanjaro again tomorrow, we would not hesitate for a second to do it with Johnny and his team.
Thank you for getting us to the summit, but more importantly, thank you for looking after us every step of the way.
