点评:We travelled to Red Bull Ring by train (IC 113 1 8:05 am) from Vienna. Then caught the 12:05 hrs #846 bus to the Red Bull Ring.
A friendly welcome at reception allowed us time to browse the exhibits in the visitors centre along with the Red Bull store.
Stefan commence the tour at the scheduled 1 pm start time and delivered a thoroughly interesting & engaging commentary throughout.
A very interesting introduction short film in the theatre was followed by visits to the Media Centre, Legends Walk (under the start/finish straight), VIP Suites, the podium (still in place from the previous weekend’s Moto GP race) and the Race Control Room with its wall of video screens.
Plenty of time for photography, including a bonus podium snap.
The tour concluded with Stefan giving us an overview of the bikes and F1 cars on display in the Visitor Centre. The more agile attendees could be photographed in a display vehicle!
Finished up with a coffee to “steel us” for trip back to Vienna.
When the scheduled returned bus was a no-show, we walked back to the visitor centre and Stefan was very obliging in helping with the arrangement of a booking of a taxi to get us back to the train station. What a legend!!
Admission fee €38 for two adults.
Even if your interest in F1 is only mild, would highly recommend a visit to the Red Bull Ring. Great value in our opinion. Worth the trip from Australia…
