Lumpini Park is such a beautiful place to explore in the middle of Bangkok! I visited early in the morning, and it was a lovely way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
The park is enormous, with beautiful lakes, lush greenery, winding pathways and so many different areas to discover. You can wander around for ages and always find something new. One minute you’re admiring the scenery, and the next you’re spotting wildlife or discovering another gorgeous little corner of the park.
And then there are the water dragons! 😂🦎
Now, I consider myself a reasonably adventurous person, but apparently walking past enormous prehistoric-looking lizards is where my bravery starts to disappear! At one point, I genuinely needed a more adultier adult to walk past them because I was too scared to go first! 😂
They’re absolutely incredible creatures, though, and watching them roaming freely around the park was fascinating.
I especially loved the contrast between the peaceful greenery and the towering Bangkok skyscrapers in the background. There were people walking, exercising, relaxing and simply enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
It’s one of those places where you don’t really need a plan. Just wander, take your time and see what you discover.
If you’re visiting Bangkok, Lumpini Park is definitely worth exploring. I’d recommend going early before the heat sets in, bringing some water and wearing comfortable shoes.
And perhaps bring a more adultier adult if you’re a little unsure about the water dragons! 😂🦎

我自认是个相当爱冒险的人，但显然，当路过那些长得像史前生物的巨大蜥蜴时，我的勇气就瞬间消失了！有那么一会儿，我真的需要一个更有“大人风范”的人陪我一起走过去，因为我实在不敢独自上前啊！😂
不过，它们真的是极其了不起的生物呢。看着它们在公园里自由自在地穿梭，真是令人着迷。
我尤其喜欢公园里宁静的绿地与背景中高耸的曼谷摩天大楼所形成的鲜明对比。人们有的在散步、有的在锻炼、有的在休息，都在尽情享受这美丽的环境。
这是个无需制定计划就能尽情享受的地方。只需随心漫步、慢慢游览，看看能发现些什么吧。
如果你要游览曼谷，伦披尼公园绝对值得一去。我建议趁天气还没变热时早点去，记得带些水，还要穿舒适的鞋子。
如果你不太确定自己能否应付那些“水龙”，不妨带个更成熟稳重的人一同前往吧！😂🦎
