点评：Perhentian Kecil is undeniably one of the most breathtaking places on earth, with its crystal-clear turquoise waters, white sand, and incredible marine life. It truly has all the ingredients of a tropical paradise.
However, seeing the sheer amount of plastic waste, straws, bags, and discarded cups scattered along the shore is heartbreaking. While some of this litter comes from visitors, a significant portion is constantly washed ashore by wind and ocean currents—meaning the beach requires constant, dedicated maintenance from local businesses, authorities, and visitors alike.
Leaving such a stunning coastline in this state is a tragic waste of potential. If this island were kept clean through regular community cleanups and stricter waste management, its global reputation would skyrocket, attracting even more eco-conscious travelers who respect and support the local economy.
Perhentian Kecil deserves to be treated like the paradise it is. Protecting this environment isn't just vital for wildlife—it is essential for the island's future as a world-class destination.
