点评：I've never attended a football game at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on the north edge of the campus of the University of Florida in Gainesville. But I've been there. I've sat in the bleachers and watched hundreds of students and local residents jog around the concourse or run the stadium steps or just sit in the stands of the 88,548-seat facility that is popularly known as The Swamp. It's a weekly ritual that brings the community together ever since the playing surface was renamed in honor of former Florida quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner and coach Steve Spurrier in 2016. Spurrier coined the nickname "The Swamp" in 1992, a place where Gators live, where only Gators get out alive. Located at 157 Gale Lemerand Drive, it was built in 1930 and has undergone renovations and expansion ever since. It is the largest stadium in Florida, the 12th largest stadium in the United States and the 20th largest stadium in the world. And it is recognized as one of the loudest stadiums in the country. It frequently draws more than 90,000 for home football games and plans are in the works to increase its capacity to over 100,000, to be as big as Southeastern Conference rivals LSU, Alabama and Tennessee. In 2011, bronze statues of Florida's three Heisman Trophy winners -- Spurrier, Danny Wuerffel and Tim Tebow -- were installed outside the stadium near the center of the west grandstand.
