Cai Rang Floating Market的点评
点评：Very disappointed with the floating market on the Hau River in Can Tho. We arose at 4.15 am and walked down to the jetty at 4.35am where we were met with chaos. We queued for a long time and eventually boarded a boat only to be told to get off. We then queued again and eventually boarded a second boat after dawn (5.20 am). We spent 40 minutes on the boat heading up river to the markets. So we arrived just before 6am which is when they close.
Unfortunately, when we arrived there were only a few vendors selling fruit. So not much to see. We were then herded onto a floating breakfast shop where most people purchased the pho. We then got back on the boat and went to a floating dessert and snack shop where we again disembarked the boat.
Finally, back on the boat to slowly return to our point of embarkation.
All in all a very disappointing experience where we felt we were the commodities rather being involved in a cultural awareness.
