点评：Looking for a little adventure while you're in Door County? Grab a paddle and go searching for shipwrecks!
We pre-booked the Clear Bottom Kayak Shipwreck Tour with Lakeshore Adventures in Baileys Harbor, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Our group was wonderfully small — just my husband and me, another couple and our guide. We chose individual kayaks, which I personally prefer, and all the equipment and life vests were provided.
Our guide was awesome! Unfortunately, I didn't write down her name, but she was friendly, knowledgeable and shared so much interesting history about the shipwrecks beneath Lake Michigan.
There's something really cool about paddling out onto Lake Michigan in a clear-bottom kayak and looking for shipwrecks beneath you. You get some exercise, enjoy the beautiful outdoors and learn a little Door County history along the way.
Lakeshore Adventures offers several different kayak tours, but we're really glad we chose the shipwreck tour. I definitely recommend booking ahead, bringing some water and getting out there for a little Door County adventure!
