点评：We were doing the Gettysburg Battlefield auto tour and saw that the Lutheran Seminary was now a museum. Total disclosure, it’s been over 25 years since I was in Gettysburg and it was not open to the public back then. On a whim, we decided to stop and cap our day with this museum. I originally thought the price was a bit high to do a self guided tour through the museum and have a guided tour of the famous cupola, but I have to admit that our guide, Bryan, did an amazing job. We spent almost an hour in the cupola taking in the view that John Buford had on 7/1/1863 while Bryan gave a great talk on the history of the seminary, Gettysburg, and the battle. He even kept my kids attention, plus the view is unmatched (I totally get why Gen. Buford made this his observation post, and getting to stand where Sam Elliot stood was a great bonus). The entire building is a museum with each floor dedicated to a different facet of the battle, the seminary, and the war. It was a great time and well worth it to check out.
