Shame about the the overdevelopment and overcrowding - plastic fantastic

点评：Second visit to Luckshall
Sadly the site - although beautifully kept and with lovely staff ( Helen) in the eatery- has been over developed since we visited years ago
Too many plastic lodges crowd the open spaces along the riverbank now that once gave the site an unspoilt air.
It’s like being in a touring van storage facility - loads of tourers with large plastic awnings and plastic fences parked everywhere.
It has lost its spacious feel and sadly is like an old people’s home - caravan storage style.
Best bit is the Hereford Canoe hire concession - but even that is being squeezed in by plastic lodges, and the masses of rabbits that come out at dusk.
This time we visited with friends - and I’m afraid the concession of opinion is that it’s ‘sterile’ crowded and soulless.
I’m sorry but we won’t be back.
