Millets Farm Falconry Centre的点评
点评：As a family we spent a few hours at Millets Wildside having booked the 'Owl Experience'. The weather was great, which helps, and the site was tidy, clean, and well laid out with a mostly birds of prey with a few other mammals and invertabrates.
The experience was with Abi, the falconer, and we were made aware of all health and safety to keep us, and more importatly the owls, safe beforehand. Speaking to Abi she definately enjoys sharing her knowledge and we were treated to handling various sizes of owls and having them fly between us. The whole experiance lasted about an 3/4 of an hour and we never felt rushed. Thanks Abi!
While we were there we saw other groups that were having a similar one-on-one experiance and the same care and attention was to be given to them; we saw a groop stroking and feeding meercats.
The wider area has farm type animals to walk around with nice wide paths for easy access, a cafe with farm shop, and a large garden centre with restaurant.
