Rasnov Citadel: Garden and Panoramic View的点评
点评：Besides the views from the hill upon which Rasnov Citadel stands, there is not much to see of the fortress itself. It is a long hike up the hill to the remains of the citadel, even with a trolley going part way, just to find the main fortress totally closed. Even worse, we had driven about 30 minutes from Brasov to Rasnov. Photos online show the interior of the citadel with its streets and buildings. However, that access was probably during the time when reconstruction was actually taking place. It looks very interesting and definitely would have been worth exploring. However, there are apparently some major legal and financial issues which have resulted in no further money being available to continue renovations. There, of course, is no fee presently being charged to "enter" the fortress, but they do charge to ride the trolley roundtrip. All in all, the excursion to Rasnov Citadel was extremely disappointing. The fortress complex could be so much more if this historical gem is ever restored.
