点评：Went here last week with my five year old son. It’s cost £13 for myself and him to swim and a further £12 for a small white coffee/hot chocolate and two biscuits from the cafe afterwards.
On entering the changing area I was immediately hit with the smell of stale urine. We moved a couple of times to different stalls thinking it might just be a certain area but no the smell was awful. A simple regular mop of the floor and empty the sanitary bins would probably solve the issue.
Anyways we got changed and put our stuff in the locker (you need a token for these and don’t try to lock it until you are ready or you will lose the token and have to go and get another one! I’m speaking from experience!)
The pool itself is always busy and was generally clean. Lots of life guards on duty so it always felt safe. The baby area has the warmest water but not really of any interest if children are above 5.
The waves come in intervals and there is always ample warning if you want to vacate the area or just prepare. The waves gets particularly big at the left hand side of the pool and still carry some strength right up to the shallow end and if you’re not expecting it can sweep you off your feet! Again be aware if you have little ones.
Overall, it was a decent experience although if you have more than one child the costs can spiral. There is a tiny little soft play by the cafe but that’s more suited to the very young.
The car park gets quite busy but you can usually find a spot.
